and Jabo' Starks.

February release. Joining Clyde and Jabo' on this fine and funky
recording are, Fred Wesley-trombone and Waldo Weathers -saxophones...
they were all with James Brown at one time or the another; plus
Motown musicians Bob Babbitt on bass and Jack Ashford on percussion;.

recording like a wild man. Dave Rubin of Guitar One magazine told me
that David's performance at The NAMM Show, last weekend was the big

Gomes Rhymes With Homes
First Annual Road Trip with the Anthony Gomes Band:
March 11 through March 14, 2004 go on the road with the Anthony
Gomes Band. The fun starts in Nashville with a tour of the new
Country Music Hall of Fame, then you'll join the band at Bourbon
Street Blues & Boogie. The next day you'll get on the band bus and
take a little trip to Memphis, where you'll tour the Gibson Guitar
Factory, that night it's off to one of Beale Street's hottest spots,
The Rum Boogie (guess who's playing!) . Day three it's back on the
bus for a trip to Clarksdale, Mississippi where you'll spend the day
at the Delta Blues Museum, and the night at actor Morgan Freeman's
club, Ground Zero. The next day it's board the bus for the trip back
to Nashville. Listen people, you'd better sign up now! this isn't a

ŠGuitarist/ singer/songwriter Albert Cummings, has signed a
multi-record deal with Blind Pig Records. Recording for the first
release will begin late January in Austin, with producer Jim Gaines

Hosted and produced by Mike Sanders, Blues Quest is a living
history of the American musical genre knows as the Blues. Each
episode features a contemporary Blues artist for one hour, who tells
stories about beginnings, influences and his or her unique

New Blues Show On WKZE, FM
There is a new blues show on WKZE, 98.1 FM NY/CT/MA. The show is
simply called "The Blues Show" and will air every Saturday from 7 to
9 PM Eastern, and will be hosted by Frank Matheis. WKZE is one of
the few remaining independent, progressive commercial radio stations
in the United States. Frank Matheis also hosts the very popular,
eclectic roots program "Frank's Picks", Fridays 7-10pm.
