In the early 90s there were a great number of very, talented musicians and bands who had gone to the expense and trouble to record their music but had no way of distributing it to media. Sad but true, unless you were signed to a label, you were invisible. Christine saw a need and filled it...In 1992, she established her business providing domestic and international, promotion and publicity services for independent artists, focusing on Blues and Roots releases. At the time, Christine was the first woman to own and operate a business of this type in the U.S.
"I know competition between companies offering publicity and promotion services is keen. It's my mission to apply high standards and values to the services I provide. You're here because you believe in yourself and the music you've just recorded. You need good, hands-on service, not just a do-it-yourself list of contacts...you need someone with time-tested media relationships. I like to establish a personal rapport with each artist and label, maintaining a one-on-one relationship for the duration of the project, and beyond. Because of my passion for, and knowledge of Blues and American Roots music, I am able to do this effectively. I have deep appreciation and compassion for the art and the artist, while at the same time understanding the nuts and bolts of the music business. I am very sensitive to the individual needs of each artist, and take a personal interest in all phases of his or her career development and advancement. Blues, Old School R&B and Soul, Gospel, and American Roots music isn't just an American phenomenon, it's a global treasure. I have like-minded associates globally" Christine Vitale
